  • How do I become a Member of NAVA?

    Please see the below links which provide information on the current qualifications: Technical Award in Real Property Auctioneering and the Foundation Degree course delivered by University of Wolverhampton.

    It is anticipated that we will be able to offer a new qualification as a Technical Award which will cover chattels type auctioneering, We hope to be in a position to offer this qualification in 2009 however this has yet to be confirmed.  In the meantime, we can consider applications through an interview process subject to experience in this area of auctioneering. 

    Upon successful completion of either of the above qualifications, you would be eligible to apply for membership with NAVA.

  • What are the benefits of using a member of NAVA?

    NAVA is a reputable regulatory body and as such requires all members to adhere to Rules of Conduct together with maintaining a high standard of professionalism. 

     

  • I'm trying to find an Auctioneer dealing in Antiques in York?

    You can enter details on the NAVA website under "Find an Auctioneer/Valuer"

    By entering "Yorkshire" in the Area or Postcode field, you will thereafter be presented with a list of Auctioneers/Valuers iwithin a 25 mile area.  Details of members listed will provide "specialist activities" for example "Fine Art Antiques"
